Interior Trends: White on White

House Proud DesignTrends:

White on White

White on white is a look that is spacious, clean and sophisticated. This clean appeal of whites creates an effect that is cooling and fresh like a blanket of snow. Create a Wintery Scandanvian appeal with whitewashed and bleached woods with whites. Combining cool and warm whites creates a sense of depth to a space. Add drama and interest to interiors by incorporating hits of high contrast colour, dark wood or black into white spaces. Spare, unfettered decoration with white creates an expansive, fresh feeling.
